We took another trip to Mexico this week. Erik loves it, he even decided to go to a local dentist to have one of his baby teeth pulled. )Unfortunately, the tooth fairy doesn't know that he is here, so he will have to wait until he gets home to Utah to take care of that little matter. After he got over the initial shock of seeing the needle and Pappaw having to calm and hold him down - he was finally allowed the dentist to do his job. The dentist had a very good manner and quickly and efficiently took care of the tooth. Very nice office - one that I would absolutely visit again. It cost all of $15.00 to pull a tooth.
They were having a parade for something outside in the streets while we waited. No floats, no big fanfare, just a stream of cars honking their horns and people inthe street waving flags. Simple pleasures and times. Little kids getting immense pleasure playing with an empty plastic bottle.
Great bargains for all and we came home very pleased with our trip. Topped if off in Rivera with a wonderful shrimp family style dinner.
