Bruno dies tonight. Actually, the umbilical cord was cut this morning. He is now chillin" in the regrigerator. (it's okay, watermelons are supposed to be cut & chilled, THEN DEVOURED) So, we had a few people over to taste the fruits (er - watermelon) of Carl's labors. (86 pounds to be exact)
All of them were excellent. As we cut each one they got sweeter! Now looking forward to MORE sweet fruits.
Next week, we should be able to get our first "mess" of peas....yay...my favorite.
