More food with the Siblings!

As usual, we get together and EAT. So, Terry brought home a bunch (probably 12-14 pounds) of shrimp on his way home from Louisiana. We had fried shrimp, boiled shrimp and grilled shrimp with jalapeno strips wrapped in bacon. To go with that, we had seasoned potato wedges and broccoli cauliflower salad. Then, to top it off, I made a peach blackberry cobbler. Needless to say, it was all very "de-lish-ous".
After we ate, we talked and talked and talked. Carl's sister, Debbie and two of her grandkids decided to do a booty dance that I tried to catch on camera, but they were so busy laughing, it was hard to get much action out of them! Had loads of fun and will miss them, but it is always good to come home.

Also got to see my nephew, the NEW sheriff of Tyler county. I am so proud of him. He is filling the shoes of his Dad very well. His Dad, my brother, Gary, had that position for 20 years until he died. Only one person filled that position between my brother and nephew and that was for one term only. I hope tht he will be able to continue that legacy for many years. So far, all that I hear is very good and he is making great strides in getting the county back in shape and SAFE.
