I absolutely love this time of the year. Wildflowers everywhere. The colors are magnificent and brilliant. On the way to Eagle Lake on Highway 71, there was several pastures that was full of bluebonnets as far as I could see. It had to have been at least 4 acres of nothing but bluebonnets. A couple of weeks ago, I actually went on the bluebonnet trail and saw some more, but we actually have more down here in South Texas. The trees that were on the side of the road were gorgeous, but I do not know what kind they are. Any help out there?
