A quick trip to Colorado to spend some time with the Hatton's. Trip got shortened on the threat of a snow storm. Do I sound like I have a great fear of snow? It isn't the snow, it is the cold and possibility of being snowed in....I'll admit, I am a "wuss". I did it for 23 years and it wasn't bad at all. I really enjoyed it while I lived there, up until the last two years and then my body just rebelled and now it just "kills" me. My nose runs all of the time, My hands and feet are cold all of the time. I just can't seem to get warm. I guess being born in warm weather country spoiled me for my old age! Anyway, we got a very short visit with our beautiful granddaughter, Taryn. Got to see a couple of Conner's basketball games and went bowling with Tyler. We had a great day planned for Sunday, but when we got up, the weatherman said that a storm was coming in and blanketing the area for a couple of days. I've been on I-80 in the winter time and it is treacherous, so we decided to get out while the getting was good. We stayed just ahead of the storm and got safely to Salt Lake City.
