Updates of House in Progress

In January we had a hail storm while Carl & I were in Utah & Colorado. The results were that we got a new roof on ALL of our building, new siding on all of our buildings, new fences, new air conditioners, etc. The inside was completely re-done when we first bought the house 3 years ago and last autumn, we finally finished that (with just a couple of minor exceptions like the railing on the stairs and the beams on the ceiling being painted..., LOL)
Now, the outside is being completely re-vamped. WOW, it is hard to recognize the old place and the paint hasn't even gone on yet! So, when my  Texas star goes back up, then it will be my house again! Now would be the time to sell, IF we even had any inkling that we would want to do that. (At this point, I say no, but who knows...maybe we do want to become true "winter Texans" and downgrade to a much smaller place so that we can leave it for 4-5 months per year????

Anyway...paint goes on this weekend, new fence, new A/C Monday, then the adjuster comes to verify that all has been done & hopefully the mortgage company will release the rest of the insurance money to pay everyone off!
