My how time flies, another Sandfest. Unfortunately, I think that this years was a lot smaller than years past. I don't know why exactly, but I don't think that there were near as many entries. Maybe I am wrong, but I know that I stopped going to it because I was usually in Utah at this time of the year or at least somewhere other than here, (since I retired..LOL) so...... Anyway, after I retired, they also started charging a fee to go and I'm sorry, but I just don't want to pay , nor do I want to fight the crowds. So, I wait until the day after and go. Some of the amateurs may have a few of them broken, but the professionals is usually all intact and no crowds and no vendors.
The beach was gorgeous, clean, pretty water and not many people. NICE!
After the beach, we stopped for a quick burger, then back to the mainland and home to the donkeys. The donks were munching happily on fresh green grass gently nudging the birds out of the way.
Life is good!!!!
