Greg left on Friday and I flew up to Colorado the next day. (One of my previous employees in Colorado was rear-ended a few years ago and her lawyer wanted me to testify for her in a lawsuit against the guy that hit her.) Anyway, I got free airfare to go see my grandkids!
We had a great time. I saw about twelve volleyball games, 4 of them were Taryn's. We had a birthday cake for Tara, Conner had a basketball game and I had two doctor appointments, blood workup, mammogram and x-rays!
Spent a lot of quality time with the grandkids. Played with the animals, Kusko(Chihuahua), Desmond (cat), Layla (Mastiff), and her new puppies, also the other cats Bella and Neyla(sp). Taryn was sick for a couple of days and Tyler was sick for a couple of other days. It was high 70's and a couple of 80's back home in Texas and it was 1 to 12 degrees in Colorado and snowing! So, I stayed inside except to go to and from the car. Now I remember why I moved to Texas. Had a great time, but was oh so glad to come back home to Texas and to Carl (lawyer did not want to pay for his airfare). And oh, yeah - WORK - NOT!!!!!!!!! Soon, the day will come that I retire!
