I'm still looking for the pink birds. When we first moved here 4 summers ago, there were a lot of them. Last year I only saw a couple. There are a few more this year, but it is hard to get close to them. I was driving along and spotted two of them, so I tried to slowly sneak up on them, but was only able to catch one in flight. I had no idea of the other colors on them until I saw one flying and my picture does not even show that. The wings are really pink and underneath, they have yellow and black and orange feathers near the tail. Very colorful. I will have to redouble my efforts now that I have seen that!!
Since Carl caught another raccoon, we also have a few of the vultures hanging around, so I snapped a shot of them on the fence post.
For a gift to myself......I found two more roosters to add to my collection, but these are right outside my kitchen door. Can't put any more in the kitchen and I am very choosy on anything that I might put outside, but these I really did like. So, here are the birds in my life today.

Do you know what the pink birds are called? I've never seen a pink bird, other than a flamingo! Looks amazingly beautiful! I had to look it up, but not sure if it's what you are looking at. What I found was called a Roseate Spoonbill. Vultures freak me out, but the roosters are totally awesome! I especially love the black and red one!
