Or should I say Brigadoon Lane and Lazy Lane? Our very first home that we bought was on Brigadoon Lane in Friendswood Tx. There was only one tree on the side of the house and NO trees down the street! All of the empty fields are now populated with houses, houses and more houses! Then we went over to NASA, to see how much it had changed. Everything has grown so much in population. It was amazing. We left there after we saw that Mario's flying pizza was still in business, but no S W Tookie's!
Then we went up north of Houston where we moved after we left Friendswood and moved to Magnolia. The first town that we went through on our journey that brought by memories was Tomball where we had to take Christy when she was snake bit. (Hospital has been replaced by a much larger one) On along to Magnolia, the ball fields are still there - just a few more have been added. The actual population is still small, but all of the surrounding area has been developed and absolutely tons of houses. The subdivision that we lived in now has a sign, but except for the foliage growing, it is still pretty much the same. Just a few more of the lots have had houses built on them. Our house is still there as well as the outbuilding that we put there 30 years ago.
The lake is still there and a red=headed young girl was there fishing when we went by!!!
