The cherry tomatoes are coming in BIG time and so are the other 38 different tomato plants!!!!! I think it might be a tomato overload. Took a few pictures of some more of the garden, then went to the front yard to take a few more pictures while Carl was weed eating around the trees. I had mowed with the "Bad Boy" ( a 5 foot swath of zero turn radius mower). Whew......the front is approximately what - maybe 1 1/2 acres...takes me about 30 minutes on the "bad boy" (that is the model name of it)
The day that I chose to mow was great. Light breeze, only about 80 degrees and NO MOSQUITOES! One does get a little dirty though with all of the gopher holes that I run over and dirt and sand blowing all around, then I run into a pile of oak leaves and mulch and scatter them throughout my hair and everything! So, I have learned to wear long sleeve shirt, long pants, socks and shoes not sandals, then just go in the back straight to the laundry room, shuck the shoes and outer layer of clothes and head straight to the shower. But it sure looks nice when it is done and did I say.....I LOVE MY TREES!!!!
My house sits under a huge canopy of these trees and our bedroom has about 16 feet of windows on the second floor right in the middle of the trees. It is great watching the birds, squirrels and butterflies going from limb to limb. So, the house might not be the perfect house, but the property and trees I do love!
